Section titled “Role Summary”The Redemptions Coordinator (a.k.a. Can Captain) manages the pack’s bottle and can redemption program — a low-effort, ongoing fundraiser where families save returnable bottles and cans and bring them to a designated collection point. Proceeds go to the pack’s general fund or Scout accounts.

Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Registration: Registered adult leader of BSA; current with YPT
- Inherits training requirements from the Fundraising Chair role
Core Responsibilities
Section titled “Core Responsibilities”- Manage the bottle and can collection shed/bin (location, maintenance, signage)
- Coordinate regular redemption runs to turn in collected bottles and cans
- Track redemption proceeds and report totals to the Treasurer
- Promote the program to pack families — remind them to save returnables
- Ensure the collection area stays clean and organized
- Coordinate with the Fundraising Chair on whether proceeds go to the general fund, Scout accounts, or a specific purpose
