Earth Day Service Event

Pack outing and service project tied to Earth Day (April 22). An opportunity for Scouts to give back to the community through environmental stewardship such as park cleanups, trail maintenance, or litter removal.

Earth Day service events connect Scouts to the Scout Law value of being thrifty and respectful of the environment. Typical projects include park or trail cleanups, planting trees or native plants, or removing invasive species. These activities directly support Leave No Trace principles and can satisfy community service requirements. Coordinate with a local park, nature preserve, or municipal agency to identify a project with lasting community impact.
