Hooked on Ice - Ice Fishing Day

Ice fishing day event held at Camp Wakpominee in February. A unique winter outdoor experience for Scouts and families to learn ice fishing skills in a safe, supervised setting.

Hooked on Ice is a council or district event providing Cub Scouts with an introduction to ice fishing on the frozen lake at Camp Wakpominee. Scouts learn basic ice fishing techniques, fish identification, and winter safety. This event is ideal for earning outdoor adventure and aquatics-related advancement requirements.
