Cub Scout Outdoor Scavenger Hunt

An outdoor scavenger hunt activity for the pack or individual dens. Scouts search for natural or Scout-themed items in an outdoor setting, building observation skills, teamwork, and outdoor awareness.

Outdoor scavenger hunts are a flexible, low-cost activity suitable for pack meetings, den meetings, or outdoor events. Teams of Scouts search for natural items (leaves, rocks, animal signs), Scout-themed objects, or clues hidden across an area. The activity reinforces Leave No Trace principles, nature observation skills, and team cooperation. Easily adaptable for all rank levels by adjusting the complexity of the hunt list.
