Section titled “Role Summary”The Assistant Cubmaster for Crafts plans and leads craft activities for the pack — at pack meetings, campouts, and special events. Hands-on craft projects are a favorite Cub Scout activity and support creative expression and skill building.

Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Registration: Registered adult leader of BSA; current with YPT
- Inherits training requirements from the Assistant Cubmaster role
Core Responsibilities
Section titled “Core Responsibilities”- Plan age-appropriate craft activities for pack meetings and events
- Source and procure craft supplies (coordinate with Treasurer on budget)
- Set up craft stations and lead the activity, with parent volunteer support
- Adapt crafts for different age levels (Lions through Arrow of Light)
- Tie crafts to advancement themes when possible
- Clean up craft area after activities
- Build a library of tested craft ideas for den leaders to use in den meetings
