Summer Resident Camp

Section titled “Description”Optional annual 4-day/3-night overnight camp at the Twin Rivers Council camp. The pack camps as a unit in Session 1 (July), with a rich program of aquatics, STEM, shooting sports, and outdoor skills.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Summer Resident Camp is the highlight outdoor event of the year for many Scouts and families. The pack camps together as a unit at the council camp, sharing meals, activities, and campfire programs. The immersive overnight camp experience accelerates advancement, builds confidence, and creates lasting memories. All Scouts must attend with a parent or guardian. The Cubmaster manages the pack roster and coordinates with the council.

Requirements:
- All scouts MUST attend with a parent/guardian (one parent can cover multiple scouts)
- Scout must be a registered pack member for group rate
- BSA Youth Protection Training required for all adults
- BSA medical forms required
Program: Aquatics, shooting sports, crafts, nature hikes, STEM activities, sports, first aid, Scout skills, fishing, bouldering, campfire programs
Logistics:
- Meals provided by dining hall; food allergies accommodated
- Electricity available for CPAP/devices
- Pack camps using platform tents with cots
- Trading post available for snacks/souvenirs
- Financial aid (camperships) available through your council

Coordination
Section titled “Coordination”- Cubmaster manages roster and coordinates pack attendance with the council
- Program Chair assists with program planning and logistics
