New Family Orientation

Orientation meeting for families who joined through school-night recruitment. Covers the Cub Scouting overview, the pack’s structure, the pack website, dues, uniforms, and Q&A.

New Family Orientation is the critical follow-up to school-night recruitment. Families who joined have signed up, but they often don’t yet understand how the pack works, what to expect at meetings, how to buy uniforms, or what dues cover. This orientation meeting answers all those questions in a friendly, welcoming environment. Hold it within 2–4 weeks of school-night recruitment while families are still enthusiastic. Connect new families with their den leaders at this event.
