School-Night Recruitment Event

The pack’s primary annual Scout recruitment event, held at your pack meeting location in early September. The Cubmaster presents the Cub Scout program to prospective families, and families can sign up on the spot.

School-Night Recruitment is the single most important recruitment event of the year. Held within the first few weeks of school starting, it reaches families when they are actively evaluating activities for their children. The Cubmaster presents an engaging overview of the Cub Scout program while Scouts in uniform demonstrate the fun and adventure of Scouting. The goal is to have families sign up before they leave. Follow-up within 48 hours is essential to convert interested families to registered members.
