Overview
Section titled “Overview”Every BSA pack must renew its charter annually through its chartered organization. The Charter Presentation Ceremony is the formal, public moment when the signed charter is presented to the pack at a pack meeting. This ceremony reinforces the pack’s relationship with its chartered organization and reminds Scouts and families of the institutional foundation that makes Scouting possible. The ceremony is brief but meaningful and should be conducted with appropriate ceremony.
