Stocking Stuffers Service Project

Section titled “Description”Holiday service project done jointly with Troop 75 in December. Scouts assemble stocking stuffers for children or families in need during the holiday season.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Stocking Stuffers project is a joint service initiative with the affiliated Scouts BSA Troop 75, giving Cub Scouts an opportunity to work alongside older Scouts while making a meaningful contribution during the holidays. Scouts and their families donate small items and then assemble the stockings at a joint event. The completed stockings are donated to a local shelter, food pantry, or community organization. This project reinforces the Scout value of generosity and community service at the most impactful time of year.

Event Details

- Common donated items: small toys, candy, hygiene items, socks, gloves
- Beneficiary is selected by the pack committee or coordinating organization
- Scouts of all ages can participate in assembly
- Document total number of stockings assembled for pack service records
Coordination
Section titled “Coordination”- Program Chair coordinates project logistics and supplies
- Cubmaster supports the event
- Den Leaders supervise den participation
