Role Summary
The Assistant Cubmaster for Engagement drives event sign-ups and family participation across pack activities. This role focuses on getting families to show up — making events appealing, removing barriers to attendance, and building excitement.

Core Responsibilities
- Promote upcoming events to pack families through personal outreach, not just emails
- Track event sign-up rates and follow up with families who haven’t responded
- Identify barriers to participation (cost, schedule, transportation) and work with leadership to address them
- Coordinate with den leaders to encourage den-level promotion of pack events
- Create excitement around events — share previews, photos from past years, Scout testimonials
- Help plan events that appeal to a wide range of families
- Report participation trends to the Cubmaster and Committee Chair
