School-Night Recruitment Event
The pack’s primary annual Scout recruitment event, held at your pack meeting location. The Cubmaster presents the Cub Scout program to prospective families, and families can sign up on the spot. Follow up with all interested families within 48 hours.
Overview
School-night recruitment is the most important single event for growing the pack’s membership. Timed to the start of the school year, it reaches families when they are actively looking for activities for their children. The Membership Chair leads the planning, the Cubmaster presents the program, and Den Leaders attend in uniform to represent their dens and answer questions. Prompt follow-up within 48 hours is critical to converting interest into membership.
